My So Call Life

Last monday, as Lilly and I were leaving school and as we were coming up to our mom's house we decided to go to the house because we had to get something, before we got into the house our step-dad stormed out. We went inside and saw our mom crying I didn't bother asking our mom what was wrong it was pretty obvious but she said it anyway your step-dad and I are getting a divorce, I was going to say that's what you get bitch but I just couldn't. so she went on saying why are you guy's here we have to get something Lilly said you know you guys can't live on your own yet your not 18 or bumming around what are u saying? We saw a car pulling up to the house and a women coming out of the car wearing a business suit carrying a briefcase, Lilly and I both looked at each other. Mom went to the door and greeted her and told her to come in I was not liking this at all. Have a seat Mrs.Brown thank you and by the way you can just call me Kathy, these are my two daughters I told you about Emily and Lilly then she left the room. it's a pleasure to meet you yeah right I said, I don't want to make this hard for you but you have to listening to what i'm about to tell to you both. Your mom called the social service informing us that you guy's aren't behaving Lilly shouted that's not true our mom is the one treating us bad you don't know half of it, blaming other people dose not solve the problem now I heard you both stay at all hours of the night even on school night's not coming home, you won't listening to your mom, you tend to lash out and treating her. Stop it right there I demanded she's only saying all of this because she doesn't want us and her life anymore she made that perfectly clear lots of times before and you know what i'm happy to get out of this place for good and away from her I walked away into the hallway. I feel the same way Lilly said I'll be right back.




On friday, Kathy came to our school and informed us that she found a great family for us I was happy and I don't know why but sad at the same time. After school she came and picked us up and took us to our new family and introduce us to everyone it felt so weird just being there and being with those people we didn't even know that was becoming our new family, Emily, Lilly let's go get your stuff. The next day Lilly got a phone call from Jamie and she told her everything that was going on when Lilly got off the phone she told me Jamie and Johnny were on their way to see us it has been quit some time since we seen them or anyone else in that matter of fact. It was 2:00 when they got to the house. Jamie came in and gave us hugs saying how sorry she was and how much she missed us Johnny did the same. We were talking about old times and catching up on everything. I was happy to see them it made my day better. I heard my phone vibrating I went to get my phone it was a text from Rusty James.
